Test-Positions
Home * Engine Testing * Test-Positions
Note: In recent years testing positions has fallen out of favor among top engine developers. SPRT tests are now generally regarded as a superior method for engine testing.
There are several classical and new developed test-position suites available as
- Forsyth-Edwards Notation (FEN)
- Extended Position Description (EPD)
- Portable Game Notation (PGN)
