SuperChess, (Super Chess)
a family of commercial chess programs, developed by Chris Whittington, written in Sinclair BASIC with embedded Z80 assembly for the Sinclair ZX81 and ZX Spectrum, first released in 1982. Subsequent versions were released in 1983/84, and under the name Chess Clock '89 in 1989 [1].
