Robert Holte[1]

Robert C. Holte,
a Canadian computer scientist and professor emeritus at the University of Alberta. He holds a B.Sc. (1977) and M.Sc. (1980) in Computer Science from University of Manitoba, and a Ph.D. from Brunel University London [2]. His research interests include machine learning, games of chance, especially Poker, and abstraction and search, in particular A* based algorithms in pathfinding. Robert Holte was member of the University of Alberta Computer Poker Research Group (CPRG) [3] .
