Diogenes,
a DOS chess program by Jörg Burwitz, written in Turbo Pascal. Diogenes performs a fast, incremental updated evaluation, and applies a principal variation search with none recursive null move pruning of R=2, razoring, and has no Hash tables [2]. Diogenes played several International Paderborn Computer Chess Championships, Aegon Tournaments and three World Microcomputer Chess Championships, Munich 1993, Paderborn 1995 and Jakarta 1996 [3]. Diogenes was at times released by Gambit-Soft [4].
