Gordon James Goetsch,
an American mathematician, computer scientist, senior software analyst and developer [1], and Ph.D. in 1990 from Carnegie Mellon University [2]. He was member of the HiTech team around Hans Berliner, and along with Murray Campbell, researched on none recursive null move heuristic with a modest depth reduction [3].

Quotes

Quote by Hans Berliner on Goetsch's role in the HiTech team [4]:

Gordon Goetsch wrote most of the system software that makes possible interfacing with the special purpose hardware, and has recently revised the software that supervises the search to make other searching disciplines possible. Gordon also maintains Hitech's statistics.
