Daniel Mehrmann,
a German computer chess programmer and author of the chess engine Homer and driving force in the development of Fruit Reloaded.
Daniel started his computer chess career as Opening Book Author and team member of Michael Ehrig's engine Greif in the 90s, and later cooperated with Ulrich Türke as book author of Comet and started to write his own engine Homer [2].
More recently, Daniel initiated a "let's update Fruit", published in March 2014 as Fruit Reloaded by Fabien Letouzey, Daniel Mehrmann and Ryan Benitez [3], hosted by Steve Maughan's Computer Chess Programming [4] and GitHub [5].
