Spectrum Chess,
a family of commercial chess programs for the ZX Spectrum, developed and distributed by Artic Computing, released in 1982.
The program was written by Artic's co-founder and director Chris Thornton [2] [3] in Z80 assembly.
Spectrum Chess participated at the European MCC 1982 and 1983.
