Tilburg University,
a public research university specializing in the social and behavioral sciences, economics, law, business sciences, theology and humanities, located in Tilburg [2], North Brabant, The Netherlands.
The university was founded in 1927 as the Roman Catholic University of Commerce, in 1938, 1963 and 1986 renamed to Catholic Economic University, Catholic University Tilburg and Catholic University Brabant respectively, to finally carry the current name in 2002.
