Kevin John O’Connell,
an Irish chess player, a FIDE Master, an international arbiter and a FIDE senior trainer [2], chess consultant [3], columnist and writer, author of various chess books [4] and newspaper columns and a computer chess business person. In 1979, along with his business partner David Levy founder of Philidor Software and in 1981 of Intelligent Software [5] [6], developing and trading dedicated chess computers [7], chess software for home computers, as well as chess display systems [8].
