Bestia
Bestia,
a Chess Engine Communication Protocol compliant chess engine by George Lyapko, written in Pascal and compiled with Delphi [2], first released in July 2000 [3], with executables to run under Windows, and more recently, to x86-64 Mac OS [4].
Beside the transposition table, Bestia features a pawn hash table, and is able to learn from its failures [5].
Bestia participated at three Hungarian Chessprogram Open, and won two times operated by Gábor Szõts, the MASPV 2001 and the MASPV 2003, both with a 100% score.
