Marc Schoenauer [1]

Marc Schoenauer,
a French mathematician and computer scientist, along with Michèle Sebag head of the TAO Project Team [2] and senior researcher of LRI with INRIA Saclay-IDF, CNRS, Paris-Sud 11 University. He graduated at École Normale Supérieure in Paris, and obtained a Ph.D. in numerical analysis at Université Paris 6 in 1980. Schoenauer has been working in the field of evolutionary computation (EC) and genetic programming since the early 90s, more particularly at the interface between EC and machine learning [3].
