Jacek Mańdziuk,
a Polish computer scientist, mathematician, and full professor at Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, Warsaw University of Technology including multiple visiting positions, f.i. at University of Alberta working with Jonathan Schaeffer et al. . He holds a Ph. D. in Applied mathematics, Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics, Institute of Mathematics, Warsaw University of Technology, 1993 [2], and a Habilitation in Computer science, Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, 2000. His research interests include the application of computational intelligence (CI) methods to game playing, neural networks, bioinformatics, financial modeling, time series prediction and development of constructive learning methods for artificial agents.
