Commodore PET 2001 [1]

Commodore PET, (Personal Electronic Transactor)
a home/personal computer designed by Chuck Peddle, produced and market by Commodore International starting in 1977. The initial PET 2001 system combined a 6502 processor, Commodore BASIC in ROM, 4 KiB (2001-4) or 8 KiB (2001-8) RAM, keyboard, 40×25 character graphics monitor and cassette tape storage in an all-in-one case. External peripherals include the Commodore 2031 floppy disk drive. Subsequent improved systems where the PET 3000 and PET 4000, in Europe shipped as CBM 3000 and CBM 8000 (Commodore Business Machines) [2].
