Deep Saros
Deep Saros (DeepSaros),
an UCI compliant chess engine by Roberto Munter derived from the Ippolit series of programs, mainly from IvanHoe [2].
Deep Saros is further based on Igorrit, and as noted by its author, incorporates own ideas as well as ideas from Glaurung, Fruit and others [3].
The engine supports a parallel search and was forerunner of the commercial Vitruvius.
