Queen's movements in chess [1]
Queen,
a sliding piece moving along the ranks, files, diagonals and anti-diagonals, thus combining the movements of Rook and Bishop and therefor the most powerful piece in the game of chess.
Along with the Rook, the Queen is considered a major or heavy piece.
