a chess program released in 2003 as Windows, Mac OS and Palm OS version with Garry Kasparov co-credited as game designer [2].
Wikipedia mentions The Learning Company as developer, and Jamdat as publisher, MobyGames refers Hexacto Games Inc. and Mindscape Asia Pacific Pty Ltd. [3], and credits Perola Valfridsson as author of Kasparov Chessmate [4]. The Kasparov Chessmate chess AI is based on the Ruffian engine [5] [6].
