Marcel van Kervinck,
a Dutch software engineer and metrology, actually Design Leader at MAPPER Lithography [2] and until 2009 at ASML Taiwan [3] . Marcel is author of the chess programs Rookie [4] , MSCP (Marcel’s Simple Chess Program) [5], and the UCI engine Floyd for study purposes [6], and author of the online opening database Bookie [7]. From December 2012 until November 2014 he was a member of the board of the CSVN.
Marcel passed away on May 25, 2020.
