Dreamer
Dreamer,
a Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible open source chess engine under the GNU General Public License Version 3, developed by Kris McAulay, Walter van Niftrik, Lawrence Sebald et al. since 2003, first released in November 2006.
Dreamer comes with its own GUI DreamChess, which can also interface other Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible engines. Primary target platforms are Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems.

Description
Dreamer is a bitboard engine with table-driven move generation, and applies alpha-beta with transposition table and iterative deepening. Its evaluation considers material, development, pawn structure, bad bishop, some rook bonuses, and king tropism.
