Detlef (Elvis) Pordzik, (May 9, 1952 - June 8, 2003 [2])
was a German computer chess expert, chess and correspondence chess player, journalist and opening book author.
Elvis wrote computer chess related articles in the German chess newspaper Rochade Europa, was Editor In Chief of the German ChessBits computer chess magazine and author of the Shredder 4 Opening Book [3].
