Steven Skiena [1]

Steven S. Skiena,
an American computer scientist and professor at Department of Computer Science, State University of New York at Stony Brook. His research interests include computational biology, combinatorial computing environments, and combinatorial algorithms and data structures. He is author of various books and publications and also contributed to computer chess in his 1986 paper An Overview of Machine Learning in Chess. [2].
