Roberto Waldteufel, (born 13 Dec 1962)
a French/British [2] computer games programmer born in Spain [3], living on the Island of Jura, Scotland. Roberto is author of the Checkers program Wyllie [4], and the chess program Rabbit [5]. Roberto Waldteufel seemed the first one, who mentioned the optimization trick in 1998 to dense the Rotated Bitboards tables, masking off the redundant outer occupancies [6].
