Rob McDonell,
an Australian accountant, business analyst, business manager for Global Recordings Network Australia [2] [3], and within his software development business company Ark Angles [4],
programmer and computer chess programmer. Inspired by Kaare Danielsen's Turbo Chess engine [5] he decided to work up his own program, KChess, which evolved to a family of educational chess programs of KChess Advance and KChess Elite [6].
