Richard Joseph Nowakowski,
a Canadian mathematician, combinatorial game theorist, and research professor at Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Dalhousie University. He is editor or co-editor of Games of No Chance, More Games of No Chance, Games of No Chance 3, and Games of No Chance 4 [2]. Along with Michael H. Albert and J. P. Grossman, he invented the game of Clobber, introduced in 2001 at a combinatorial game theory workshop in Halifax [3].
