Matthew (Matt) Gingell,
an American computer scientist and senior software engineer affiliated with Google, Kirkland, Washington [2], working on the Asylo enclave framework [3].
He received his B.Sc. in computer science from New York University in 2000, and worked until 2012 on the GCC toolchain and the GNAT Ada compiler at Ada Core in New York City [4].
As computer chess programmer, Matt Gingell is author of the Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible open source chess engine Chesley, named after Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger,
the pilot who successfully landed an airplane on the Hudson river around the time when Matt started chess programming [5].
