John F. White,
a British multiple author [1], computer consultant and programmer. Fascinated by the later Roman Empire, especially Aurelian's achievements, he researched and wrote his own account [2]. He is co-programmer of the popular computer Latin translator Blitz Latin [3] and programmer of Frankfurt Goethe University's inscription search engine [4]. He lives in Wokingham, England [5].
Querg
As former chess programmer John F. White wrote a series of chess programs in the 80s, called by the generic name Querg, all implemented in 6502 assembly to run on an 64K Atari 130XE [6]. In his second ICCA Journal article he describes how to store and retrieve moves of an opening book [7].
