World Class Chess, (WCC)
a commercial chess program written by David Stafford, published in 1987, later possibly available as shareware [1].
World Class Chess was likely a commercial relative of Greco which played the ACM 1987 on an IBM PC compatible under MS-DOS.
Stafford claims World Class Chess was the first commercial chess program which offered a user-configurable opening book library [2] [3].
