Hamed Ahmadi,
an Iranian computer scientist, electrical engineer, and lecturer at the University of York
with previous affiliations at Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin,
Beijing Dublin International College, Sheffield Hallam University and University of Essex.
He received a B.Sc. degree in computer software engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2004,
a M.Sc. degree in computer engineering from National Aerospace University of Ukraine in 2008,
and his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from National University of Singapore in 2012 [2].
His research interests include next generation of mobile systems, self-organizing networks, internet of things, optimization, machine learning, game and auction theory,
and evolutionary algorithms.
In the early 2000s, he developed an Othello program HamedReversi and the chess program HamedChess, both still available for download [3].
In 2003, his entry DarwinCaissa applying genetic algorithms, became 4th at the CodeCup 2003 competition [4],
playing the game of Caïssa [5] [6].
His Alquerque entry Beta became third at the CodeCup 2008 competition [7].
