Labirint 64,
a compact, selfmade dedicated chess computer with 8085 processor, an alpha-numeric keypad and small display, built and programmed by Viorel Darie [1] [2], which competed at the WMCCC 1983 in Budapest. Labirint 64 searched no more than one position per second, but entertained its opponents by playing melodies to express its feelings - a triumphant tune when capturing a piece, sombre strains when it was losing [3].
