Yew Jin Lim, [2]
a Singaporean computer scientist, currently software engineer at Google Inc. in Mountain View, California, USA.
He received a B.Math in pure mathematics and computer science at the University of Waterloo in June 2000,
and a Ph.D. in computer science on the topic of Forward Pruning in Game-Tree Search at the National University of Singapore in 2007, covering RankCut.
His research interests include game AI, interactive media, high performance computing and machine learning [3].
Contents
Tigers and Goats
Along with Jürg Nievergelt, Yew Jin Lim solved the ancient Nepali board game Bagh-Chal, also known as Tigers and Goats by retrograde analysis and various optimzation techniques [4] [5].
