University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign,
is a public research university in Illinois, United States, founded in 1867 as a land-grant institution. Its campus is located in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana.
NCSA
The university hosts the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and is home to the fastest supercomputer on a university campus, such as the Connection Machine-5/512 in the 90s [2].
