Sven Schüle [1]

Sven Schüle,
a German computer scientist, freelance software developer and computer chess programmer. Sven started first chess programming activities in 1986, when he wrote some private chess programs for Atari ST and later PCs with Windows operating system. He is author of Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible WinBoard chess engines Surprise, first released in June 2004 [2], KnockOut, released in June 2010 [3], and Jumbo, first released in September 2016 [4]. He further supported Michael Hoffmann with the development of Nemo [5], and is a frequent and competent poster in Computer Chess Forums. Sven is skeptic about the ICGA decision concerning Rybka in 2011 [6].
