Stefan Zipproth [1]

Stefan Zipproth,
a German computer scientist, and owner of the software development company Zipproth GmbH [2], along with Thomas Zipproth also involved in the Brainfish and Cerebellum projects [3]. He holds a diplom degree from Technical University of Munich in 2000 on wavelet based image compression with edge detection under Hans-Joachim Bungartz [4]. As former computer chess programmer, he is author of the chess engine Aristarch [5]. Stefan Zipproth further wrote technical articles about computer chess programming in the German computer chess magazine Computerschach und Spiele (CSS).
