ProDeo, (Pro Deo)
a free version of the former commercial Rebel chess program series by Ed Schröder with a complete rewritten personality setting in self-explainable natural language, making it one of the most tunable chess engines. ProDeo is WinBoard and UCI compliant and runs under Windows with various GUIs, and incorporates an open source EOC database. ProDeo played the DOCCC 2004, ICT 2005, DOCCC 2005, DOCCC 2011, and the ICT 2012.
