Peter Kappler [1]

Peter Kappler,
an American aerospace engineer, software developer, master-ranked USCF chess player [2], and computer chess programmer and consultant. Peter received a B.Sc. in aerospace engineering from University of Texas at Austin in 1992. He is co-founder and director of the Austin Chess Club [3], serves as webmaster of the Texas Chess Association [4] [5], and is author of the private chess engine Grok [6]. Peter Kappler was computer chess consultant for Andrew Bujalski's 2013 feature film Computer Chess [7].
