Kurt Fischer,
a German mathematician, computer scientist and early chess programmer. Along with Hans-Jochen Schneider, Kurt Fischer is author of the first German chess program Fischer-Schneider, written in 1965 while affiliated with the University of Stuttgart [1] [2].
