Eric Marathée,
a French software developer and as computer chess programmer author of the chess engines Small-C, which was born around 1990 and would compute 200 nodes per second at that time, and the UCI compliant open source engine Gibbon. Apparently, Eric Marathée has some antipathy for "annoying" Magic Bitboards [1].
