The Italian company Certabo manufactures and markets electronic chessboards with automatic [[Piece Recognition|pieces recognition ]] to allow playing against strong chess engines on stylish traditional wooden boards. Unlike other electronic boards, Certabo boards do not necessarily come with their own, fixed pieces.
