Daniel (Dan) Newman,
an American computer scientist and information manager with an associates of applied science degree from ECPI College of Technology,
Virginia Beach, Virginia [1].
As computer chess programmer, Dan Newman is author of various private chess engines using different board representations like 0x88 and more recently, Bitboards [2],
as applied in his WinBoard compatible chess engine Shrike, written in C++, which played the first three CCT Tournaments.
