Hypra-Chess,
a chess program for the Commodore 64 by Thomas Gaksch, written in 6510 assembly. Hypra-Chess was published in 1987 by the German 64'er magazine as part of the C64 game collection Vol. 1 [1]. The program had a rudimentary user interface and did not display a the chess position [2].
