Eric Marathée,
a French software developer and as computer chess programmer author of the chess engines Small-C, which was born around 1990 and would compute 200 nodes per second at that time, and the UCI compliant Gibbon. Apparently, Eric Marathée has some antipathy for "annoying" Magic Bitboards [1].
