Jonny played various IPCCC, the DOCCC 2010 and CCT Tournaments, and was two times runner up at the Livingston Chess960 Computer World Championship, the 2005 and 2006. At the WCCC 2011 Jonny ran on a a cluster of 100 PCs with eight cores each, and at the WCCC 2013 in Yokohama, even with 2400 cores of the btrzx3 cluster of the University of Bayreuth , where Jonny was quite close to become champion - if it had won the last round versus Junior. In Fall 2013, Jonny won the PT 45 a half point ahead of its commercial rivals Shredder and Deep Fritz, running on 216 cores. At the PT 47, in November 2014, Jonny won conveniently with 7/7, running on 768 cores , defending its title with the same cluster at the PT 49 in October 2015. Already at the WCCC 2015 in Leiden, Jonny brought home the gold on a 2400 core cluster, thanks to upset victories against Komodo and HiarcsHIARCS. At the WCCC 2016, Jonny became runner-up, after losing the sixth game in the play-off versus Komodo, which was a 3+5 blitz game. As a slight compensation, Jonny won the blitz tournament this time a play-off versus Shredder, leaving Komodo third.
