Rasmus Althoff,
a German electrical engineer and developer of embedded systems, at times affiliated with the University of the German Federal Armed Forces Hamburg.
Fascinated by dedicated chess computers since the late ’80s, also active in game programming with his Connect Four program Zack for the Atari ST [1], he recently combined his professional and recreational interests and designed his own FLOSS dedicated chess computer, dubbed CT800 [2].
