Chun Ye
Chun Ye,
a Chinese computer scientist who holds a Master's degree with the thesis title Experiments in Selective Search Extensions in 1992 from the University of Alberta under supervision of Tony Marsland.
Chun Ye further co-authored with Marsland on the Chinese Chess program and 3rd Computer Olympiad shared gold medal winner Abyss, which was also subject of his thesis.
The framework of Abyss was based on the Western experimental Chess program Parabelle by Fred Popowich and Tony Marsland [1].
