Chris Joerg's and Bradley Kuszmaul's acknowledgments in Massively Parallel Chess on *Socrates [3]: Charles E. Leiserson, Robert D. Blumofe, Yuli Zhou, and Michael Halbherr all contributed to making the chess program work and to developing the underlying parallel technology used in *Socrates. Don Dailey and Larry Kaufman of Heuristic Software provided the serial program, Socrates, on which our parallel program is based, and Don worked many hours to help us get our parallel program working.
