Wolfgang Traudes, 1996 [1]

Wolfgang Traudes,
a German chess player in the 2200 Elo range [2] [3] and operator of InterChess and Goliath at the WMCCC 1996 in Jakarta and the WMCCC 1997 in Paris respectively. The ICGA tournament site wrongly mention Traudes as engine programmer of InterChess, [4], while Michael Borgstädt is primary author [5] [6] [7]. At that time Borgstädt worked with Heureka author Gerold Fischer and his partners, and in 1997 he confirmed to encourage Fischer to withdraw Heureka from playing the WMCCC 1997 [8] [9], where W. Traudes was listed as Heureka operator on a preliminary participant list [10].
