Walter Bannerman,
a Swiss bank teller with Ghanaian roots and as avocational computer chess programmer author of the chess engine Ananse, which played various World Microcomputer Chess Championships [2], International Paderborn Computer Chess Championships and four consecutive Aegon Tournaments from 1993 to 1996.
At times Walter Bannerman was Director of Sangold Computer Systems providing translation services, as well as chess and computer workshops.
