Pantheon and the Fontana del Pantheon [1]

The Seventh World Microcomputer Chess Championship took place from September 14 to 20, 1987, Rome, Italy. Both the Manufacturers' group (Commercial Event) and the Programmers' group (Software Event) were won by Richard Lang with Mephisto Roma and Psion respectively, followed by David Levy and Mark Taylor with CXG Sphinx and Cyrus 68K, more closely than the results suggested [2] . Best amateur was Gyula Horváth with Pandix.
