Tim Kosse,
a German computer scientist at times affiliated with RWTH Aachen University, and recognized open source author,
most notably of the free cross-platform FTP software FileZilla [1].
Tim Kosse is co-author of the TCP performance measurement tool Flowgrind
[2], and more recently author of the open source chess engine Octochess [3].
