Thomas Mayer @ BELCT 2001 [1]

Thomas J. Mayer,
a German computer scientist and software developer. He already started chess programming back in 1985 with Basic and Pascal and wrote a chess program dubbed PommiChess [2], which apparently later evolved to the now private chess engine Quark [3].
