Another thingsthing. I also have the source file for the microcode. From reading that, it seems like there was no PDP-11 involved. Rather, the PDP-10 spoke directly to CHEOPS, or to a core memory on the bus. I also have the PDP-10 software for doing this. Is the information on this page based on the article in Computer Chess Compendium? Do you have it, and if so exactly what does it say about the PDP-11? The block diagram says "PDP11 UNIBUS" but I take that to mean the type of bus rather than there being a PDP-11 attached.
